Week 21: Celebrate Learning and Black History Month

We recognize February as Black History Month by honoring an African-American who made a notable contribution to our society.  During February, a member of the student council will recite a statement to the student body each day that celebrates the accomplishments of someone who achieved something significant in American history.  Every year Black History Month has a new theme. The 2012 theme honors black women: Black Women in American Culture and History.
