2012 CPS Summer Camps

CPS is offering free sports camps across the city from July 2 - Aug 3.

Ms. Graham will coach Golf at Marquette Park on:

Tuesdays, from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Wednesdays, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

Thursdays, from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Other camps include: Football, Bowling, DoubleDutch/Spirit, Tennis, Soccer, Track & Field, Multisport and Volleyball.

Summer Term New Student Orientation: Saturday, June 23 at 10am

 

Marwen courses and materials are free of charge for all students!
All new students must attend a two-hour orientation session accompanied by a parent or legal guardian prior to registering for their first course at Marwen. Once admitted to your first term, you’ll be eligible for early registration with all other returning students. If parental accompaniment is an issue, please call 312.944.2418 ext. 211

Early arrival is highly suggested!

Marwen welcomes all students who:
• Live within the city limits of Chicago
• Study in grades 6–12
• Can’t afford to pay for art courses elsewhere
• Can make art independently for up to three hours at a time
• Self-elect to participate

For admission to Marwen programs, a student must meet all five eligibility requirements.

You’ll receive information in the mail with the details for orientation day prior to your arrival.

The weeks are winding down!  Forgive us for not making a post in a while. So much has happened!

• The 8th graders had their Ribbon Pinning Ceremony and Luncheon
• The Running Club hosted their annual event
• The PW Golf Team competed in the annual Citywide Golf Skills Competition
• The PW Track team competed!
• The 8th graders took their Explorer test
